Wow, that rack is insane!! I don't know what my reaction would be if I saw that thing coming into shooting range. Heckuva buck that's for sure. Hope somebody chimes in!

ha 10-12k for a fence hunt no thanks would rather spend that and go to a Utah trophy area for elk

That's what I can't understand mrklean, for that kind of money you could go on the hunt of a lifetime and probably bag a record book animal versus shooting some pen-raised, obviously artificially souped up monster. Now, I have no idea on that particular pic and not debating high-fenced operations. I'm just saying, I don't get the picking out your animal from a menu and shooting it concept. It's like that country singer that chased around a caged pet bear for a couple of arrows before he could finally put an arrow in it. I talked to somebody who claimed he was an associate and said, you don't understand, he's short on time and this is the only way he can "hunt." No, that's the only way you get a gaurenteed "kill." Picking out your animal in advance, walking out minutes later and shooting it isnt hunting.

They released the video of that bear "hunt"......gives hunters a bad name IMHO.

For me, the chase of hunting and trying to outsmart an animal is as fun as taking the animal.

$45,000 for a deer come on thats just insane. What was that junk about being part elk?
