zamboni
30 seconds left before halftime and Childress decides to run into the locker room with a 3 point lead instead of running more plays. Moss very upset, and looking at it now- who could blame him? Still had timeouts to burn, plenty of time left. Childress has regressed back into the coach we all hated before last season. Not challenging that juggling Packers TD was another mistake this clown made last night. He needs to go, take TJunk and Brett with him at seasons end. TruthWalleyes
I was equally disappointed at first, then when i realized that the packers still had 2 time outs, it didn't seem like such a dumb move by childress. Had we turned it over, we could have lost the lead before half time.

harvey lee
Agreed. I guess Chilly thought that GB might not score again and the Vikes would win by three.Yes, they could have turned it over and if they did, Chilly must have no confidence in his defense at all.Maybe they should shore that issue up instead of simply saying we have to take no chances.Thats a great attitude for a losing team. Had we turned it over, we could have lost the lead before half time. If we had turned it over, it would have been further down the field, probably at about the 20. Had we completed a pass at the 20, we would have had 15-17 seconds and 20 yds. Had they intercepted it, they would have had 80 yds and 15-17 seconds. Gotta go for it. Dave S
This just adds to the Vikings saga. I didn't stay up to watch or listen to any of the post game comments. When they left the 20 seconds on tehe clock in the first half, Moss was obviously torqued. From I did hear this morning, Childress was tempted to pull Brett from the game and expressed his disgust with Brett for changing the plays at the line.Childress is the last one who should be casting any blame for the way the season has been going. reinhard1
they should have fired him at half time. he's a quiter and has no place being a head coach. why wait till the end of the season. good luck.
FISHINGURU
He should of been fired 2 years ago. Who gives a lilly that we win a couple more games a season when the owner says spend whatever amount of money you need to get good players in here to win. Poor Zigy has to realize we lose more games to coaching then anything else, doesn't he?

gopher_nation
Remember Cowboys in week one(I think??)? Phillips decides to play out the half and receiver-guy loses ball and it goes the other way for six. They did take a shot but PI moved the ball back again. Anything can happen. I don't think it was a terrible idea.
