I run it in the last 2 tanks of the year and then make sure its in the gas when I put it away for the year.I also run ring free in every tank in the summer. It is supposed to do everything that Stabil does plus they say it breaks up any water molecules in the gas tank due to condensation and allows them to be burned away.
