zepman
I suspect it's a case where she was paid a whole lot of money to keep silent and make the thing go away but now for whatever reason it's not going away like she was told it would so thus the lawyer being hired. Or the $$$$ hasn't changed hands yet.
Musky Buck
Like the title Favre Investigation, it was precisely what he was doing, investigating whether or not he could get away with some action on the side, since it was prior to Eldrick Woods I'll give him a pass lol. harvey lee
If there is any evidence he will be suspended, the NFL has made it clear on this type of thing.Looks like TJACK may get another shot. My bet is he will play all season.
Shack
LIMIT a couple media outlets said it would be handed down quickly (same day or in the next AM) if anything was said by Favre yesterday. Jenn refuses to talk and nothing further is needed by Favre. This "story" broke in August. Not matter what the comish said last week, the NFL has been looking into this matter all season. If enough evidence was found and Favre confirmed it yesteday, head lines would have said (sources) Favre would be suspended next week. It's over and I agree, Favre will play all year unless injury occurs.
Mudcutter
the whole thing is a joke. throwing the ball on a beach to get close to chicks,, (which the Jets did) or sending a pic on a phone,,, who really cares other than his wife??? For Goodness sakes,,, London FLetcher KILLED a person and still plays. He was not allowed to play for a year,,, but a human life was taken,, Favre's situation is a joke over played by the media,, once again. Imagine that.

LMITOUT
It's over and I agree, Favre will play all year unless injury occurs. The NFL has now contacted the HSOforum that broke the story. If none of this actually happened, why hasn't Favre categorically denied everything instead of dodging the questions? If it was over the NFL would issue a statement saying so. It's not over. Mudcutter
not London FLetcher,, but Leonard Little,,, --- sorry for that. point is--- commit a serious crime (manslaughter) as major pro athelte,,, your good to go. Do something like send a pic on your phone,, you seem to gather more attention. Funny how it's totally 180 for Joe the plumber. once again, the Favre deal is a complete waste of time. Born2Fish
Why has he not denied it? Maybe because he does not have to prove a darn thing to anyone other then himself. If he knows he did not do it, then why even tell the media ANYTHING to add any more fuel to the fire?
flipper
I wonder how some of you would feel if it was your sister or your daughter or your wife this pervert was doing this to. He was in a position of power over someone who worked for the same organization and he was trying to use that power to boink someone just barely over half his age. He sure makes a great role model for our youth don't he? But none of that matters if he can throw a football does it?
LMITOUT
That's ridiculous. Why allow the speculation to continue? If nothing really happened, and she's not saying anything, then why wouldn't he say it's nothing more than a fabrication to smear his name and deny it all which would start the ball rolling towards the end of this allegation. Instead, he's leaving the door open by making no comments and the speculation is just going to continue week after week until the NFL finally makes an announcement on it's findings. His apology to his teammates prior to the Jets game was just a precursor to things to come. He knows this is going to eventually spiral downwards out of control and he took that moment to start the first of many apologies while things are still "up in the air". If he was truly innocent all he would have to say is that this is complete nonsense and I never did those things. I see no other reason why he hasn't proclaimed his innocence except that he simply isn't.
harvey lee
Who cares if whatever happened. The NFL will drag it on and on. If they had hard proof, this would have come to a head already and Farve would have recieved his 3 days off.Minor deal. The only ones that continue to make it a big deal is the press and the NFL. One has to laugh at this petty stuff. It's between Farve and his family and should be noone elses business. No, too many busy bodies to whine about it all.Bad boy Farve.Ok, lets play.Go get em Farve. He sure makes a great role model for our youth don't he? But none of that matters if he can throw a football does it? Come on Flipper. Raises flags when this is brought up with what has produced with evidence. I wonder how you would feel if your sister, daughter, or your wife had some news source interviewing a person for a none related issue and this person mentioned something about something that your sister, daughter, or wife supposedly did, with no proof and suddenly a large group of people were involved and blamed her for something that did not happen or occur? Well, it was reported by a news source correct? New sources are always correct in scandals right? So I am supposed to believe this: Quote: NT woman claims alien hoons in UFO shaped like Ford station wagon cut off her car * Nick Calacouras * From: Northern Territory News * September 13, 2010 12:56PM A NORTHERN Territory woman claims she was cut off by two alien beings in a spaceship shaped like a Ford station wagon before it took off surrounded by green, blue and red flames. Her amazing tale was just one of the stories to emerge after public broadcaster the ABC opened up the airwaves in the Northern Territory to UFO believers. Betty, from Alice Springs, said her close encounter occurred in 1969. She was driving 12 miles south of Aileron towards the northern city of Alice Springs at 4 am with her 6-year-old daughter when they saw the vehicle "flying alongside us." "We saw these two figures inside this thing. It looked like a Ford station wagon, with the windows," Betty said. "It came in front of us really quickly." Her daughter then said: "There's nothing to be afraid of." "I said, 'Why did you say that?'"She said, 'I don't know, it just came out of my mouth.' "And as I was talking, the whole thing took off like a shot out of a gun ... And then there was all this green and blue and red flames or lights all around it. "I'll never forget it." Another caller, Dennis, said his sighting was shared by a crowd of people on the Dripstone Cliffs, 61 miles (98km) south of Darwin, at sunset. "A mate and I were looking down the beach and saw this orangey-pink light progressing towards us. No sound at all," he said. "We just watched it in silence as it cruised on past the casino." I am not sure, I believe this story more than I do the one about Favre. I was going to post a story in which a woman has been receiving obscene text messages from male aliens, but figured the content was not appropriate for HSO. By LIMIT's reasoning's, these woman went public with there stories, so does that make them credible now? Male Pro Sports figures & Aliens are always guilty until proven innocent. Shack
You have to have a victim first to even possibly place blame on one. You're fine with placing guilt with almost no eveidence to support it? Flipper do you know or have talked with Jenn or even a close relative or friend? I have no clue if he did this or not. When you suggest that those who wont side with Favre being guilty with what is provided do not care if a pervert is doing something to our female loved ones, the term "out to lunch" comes to mind. Almost as bad as LIMIT's stereotype of a good looking woman who always takes the payoff from a rich source to cover up a sex scandal. fishersofmen
If he was innocent in this he would have filed a lawsuit against Deadspin by now and obviously would by denying it at every chance he could get.But I could care less. The fact is when you have these gorgeous women (many with seductive personalities) working around all these horny male athletes who are constantly on the road by themselves it spells trouble. Shack
So has Obama with the National Enquirer's breaking news of his cheating. Should every sketch tabloid piece be brought upon or acknowledge on a national level by the accused? Kind of like when a major sports network chooses to flip the camera away when someone rushes the field. The more acknowledgment, the more you have the bogus junk occurring. LMITOUT
LOL, so now Favre is the victim? This just gets better all the time! I would bet the attitude here would be different if he was still wearing the green and gold.

If it's not true why the heck wouldn't ANYONE deny and debunk such a personal attack? No attention hungry person would want that kind of press. Wouldn't any wife of someone in that situation be grabbing and twisting their "sack" to come out and clear the air? Mine would..... Deanna doesn't strike me as a pushover either. The only thing that raises a shadow of doubt is if Brett is technically savvy enough to use a phone to take pics of his junk and know how to send them to someone. Unless his agent helped with that! Shack
As long as we are thinking crazy thoughts here, what if it was all made up on Jenn's part and Favre (as a friend) is in some trying to protect her? Another one would be that if Favre did not do this, just blew it off as junk on-line carp, it surfaced again and by the next day the NFL commish is saying there is going to be an investigation, would it be wise to hold a press conference prior to the interview? As for his breaking down in front of the team and crying, if this was the first time Favre had mention of crying, even in private, let alone public, I would use it to find guilt in my own mind. Favre tears up after a big loss. Pile the start of the season, this news before the NY Jets, Favre would tear up if he jersey was torn when he was putting on for the game. Also who writes the rules on when & why someone should come forward to say this or that? I guess the entire world should stop because my enquiring mind wants to know? Yep, you guys are right. He is guilty. Flip the switch. Only the innocent come forward right away and say "I did not do it". Yep, hang him high. If he had done that everyone in this forum would take what he said as truth and no blame would be placed. Good lord.
toughguy
I wonder how some of you would feel if it was your sister or your daughter or your wife this pervert was doing this to. Don't confuse Jen with your sweet and innocent daughters. Do a google image search. She's wearing next to nothing in 90% of the pictures. I mean it bothered her so much she immediately ran to the authorities for help...er wait, no she didn't. But I bet the only reason she didn't was because she was too ashamed right? Please. Favre had absolutely NO power over Jen. They worked in completely different parts of the organization and reported to completely different people. Don't kid yourself. Why try to make this into something it isn't? You must be a Packer fan.If Favre is guilty of this should he be punished? I'm not sure...I guess it depends on if Jen was offended and wants some sort of compensation or "Justice". Otherwise, it is none of anybody else's business. Funny she didn't come forward back then, or ask him to stop. Hmmmm. But please, stop pretending like this woman (who makes her living SOLELY off of her sex appeal) is some sort of grave victim. What Favre did is not OK and was very stupid... but you paint it to be something it isn't, which also isn't fair.
zepman
Nobody knows what really happened between these two...for all we know she baited him in to all of this and he fell hook, line and sinker. The only victim(s) in all of this are Favre's family members.I question her motives and timing with all of this...two years removed. Dave S
Bob Barker said it best: "There's too dam many unscrupulous women out there". Although Jen isn't the one who's pushing the issue here. The NFL and the media are creating their own Favre saga.
