Rib Mountian State Park

Took a little more than a half day on Tuesday to venture a half hour north of Stevens Point, WI to Wausau and Rib Mountain State Park. Because of the park entrance road being under construction I had to really work just to get there by hiking/ climbing Granite Peak probably the largest ski resort in WI that is adjacent to the park. After a 500ft + climb I reach the summit. Boy was I rewarded. A near perfect bluebird sky day, temps in the low 50's, nearly no other visitors and gorgeous colors. I will leave the photos explain.

Worth the effort for sure Jeremy! Not sure I can pick a favorite, but the light play in the first one is very pleasing.
