Do you think it is too early to make mock scrapes next week and hunt them next weekend? (if the camera says to do so)

Can mock scrapes kick start the bucks, since they are ready and they are just waiting for the does to be ready?

you could make a mock scrape! yes! but i highly warn you not to use any Estrous scent. buck urine or some type of curiosity scent would be your best bet!

Last night I had two bucks fighting on the ridge across from me. They weren't just tickling antlers either. It sounded like two guys going at each other with baseball bats. I never saw them but they were running back and forth chasing each other and making all kinds of racket. It lasted for awhile. I have never heard anything like it.

I also found two scrapes in differant areas.

It's never too early for mock scrapes. Deer use them year-round. Make a few and let the camera do the scouting for you.
