I got the calling down pretty good but for some reason need to warm up till I get the right sound.

Just wait till you get a cow bawling in the dark the first one I heard almost made me fall out of the tree.

Good luck and bring lots of lantern gas and mantels it takes some time to quarter one, I think it took me 6 hrs. Plus waders I lived in mine for a week it rained almost everyday.

Good Luck Frank and Co., I hope we get to see some awesome pictures and a great story....My 7 year old wants to go moose hunting in two weeks instead of squirrel hunting. At least he dreams big.....

what Zone is everone going to be in? ill be up in zone 31. go up there every year for the moose season to see those amazing animals get regestered. my uncle owns wildhurst lodge up there and is one of the only moose regestration sites. good luck to everyone!

Had planned on getting up there Thurs and set up camp.

I coach U13G soccer. We're in the Gold Division playoffs held this past weekend.

We advanced to Final Four on Oct 2-3.

I knew of those dates a long time ago that along with Opener of Moose.

Once in a life time deal and all I figured if we made the Final Four my assistant coach could fill in for me.

I can't walk out on them.

My hunting partner understands.

I'll be headed to zone 76 after the Championship game on Sunday.

That gives me a few more days to practice my calling.

Jr is coming along to experience the hunt and film.

He'll be packing out meat as well.

When he gets drawn I'll do the same for him.

Hope it not 30 years from now though.

I will be in zone 33. Finally got drawn after 30 years of on again and off again applying, and finally our number came up. I just got back from a scouting trip, I am getting very excited... CH

my dad and i will be up in zone 24. i feel very fortunate to have gotten drawn this fall; it was our very first lottery attempt!!!

if we get one, our plan is to stop by Wild Hurst Lodge so i'll see you there Iceman!

Stickem matchset just remember aim small miss small and the sharp broadhead allways win. If you can hit a icecream pale you can heart shoot a moose that how big they are.
