water temp gauge ?

I bought one years ago that was a tube with a hole in it and a thermometer inside. You lowered it down and let it sit for a short time. Somehow it gave the depth you were at and the temp of that water. Of course I don't remember more other than I think I may have gotten at Cabelas. Frankly it seems more important to me to know the temp at X depth than to know that the surface foot is at Y degrees.

They spell it "Deptherm" Model 104.

* Helps you stay in the preferred range where fish are most apt to be feeding

* You just drop it on a line and let it sink to the bottom or to any depth you choose

* Growing pressure forces water into the gauge to give you an accurate reading of both temperature and depth

* Readings take just 30 seconds!

Do a search, you can pick them up cheap at a regional discount place we all know well right here in MN.

They work well too. A staple tool in the tackle box...a very nifty proven gadget.
