It sounds good, is it a real fine powder?

have you tried an oriental store? or maby a store that deals in mexican foods. i go to a korean store off 65 called seoul foods and get stuff there that i need that are found nowhere else like a cub for example. next time i go there i will look for some myself, sounds good. if i see some i'll post it. good luck.

try penzeys spice in Apple Valley off Cedar and south of Cty Rd 42 south about 1.5 mile on the west side of Cedar, in a strip mall. they also have a web site with jalapeno flakes.

If you have a dehydrator, cut the jalapenos and remove seeds and membranes. Dehydrate them and grind them in a small processor.

I made a mean mix of chili powder, using habanero, super chili, hot banana, serrano and jalapenos.

I like to mix it with grated parmesan cheese and sprinkle it on some still hot popcorn!
