Mudcutter
also-- Tom Rathman and Daryl Johnston were pretty good at what they did....... I see TG having the potential to get to that level,, which is all you can ask for.
CJH
Yeah you made a list that shows exactly nothing. Congrats. If you think all those backs are better than T.G. then you've proven my point about you being clueless. You're just a Vikings hater. You are funny though. Projected round? That proves exactly what? Sorry. You can't provide a clue when you don't have one available to give.Just another Vikings hater. Good comic relief though. Lmao!!! Someone needs to get off the meds!! He's getting a little cranky!! I didn't make the list - not my rankings, and not a Vikes hater. I like Greheart, but the way you guys are talking he is the second coming of AP (or Riggins if you feel more comfortable with that)!!! CJH
It was Craig James. 1985-86 season. Yep, he rushed for almost the same yards as Riggins did, just a year later.Alstott was a load to take down in his prime!!
zamboni
that be 949 attp in a season,, or 59 a game,, lots of backs don't see 949 attp in a career. as vikes fans,, who can forget the true thunder and lighting with Alstott and Dunn. I like it--- AP and TG,,, a little less breakaway speed than C. Taylor,, but TG well be a decent to very good option. The Vikes have no one after those two,, so an injury or two could really hurt. I realize that, I was being funny. But in my defense, Alstott wasn't a first down RB, he was a short yardage/goal line guy. That was my point. koonie
T.G. was drafted as a backup running back. I don't really see a bunch of years starting or rushing for 1,000 yards. He get some looks to rest AP and some short yardage stuff. Should be fun to watch though cuz he runs hard.CJH. my bad. thought that was all u. lol! Maybe I do just need my purple crack. B.R.O.
Got a close up look at him the other day at training camp, he sort of had the deer in the headlights look like he was pretty confused as to what he was supposed to be doing but man is this guy a LOAD. Looks way bigger in pads than I thought he would. If he can run as fast as his times say I wouldn't bet against him.

Craigums
I remember reading reports from several team scouts stating that if he was black Toby Gerhart would have been drafted in the first half of the first round. Vikes got good value for the pick they used on him, also reports out of training camp are that he is running hard and has a little fire in him. Born2Fish
Also reports that him and Ray Edwards got into a scuffle on the last day of training camp!!
FISHINGURU
I remember reading reports from several team scouts stating that if he was black Toby Gerhart would have been drafted in the first half of the first round. Thats funny, I bet no one even cared or payed attention to them reports either. But if them same reports would of said "If this black QB was white he would of been a 1st rounder" oh boy it would of been the end of the world!!
