Speeding ticket - who to pay

Missed the speed change sign going to Mount Rushmore last Monday and got a ticket. Can't tell who to make the check out to. Envelope is addressed to Pennington County Clerk Of Courts.

I know WHERE to send it, just not who to make the check out to.

Why not call the local sherriff's department and ask?

You probably can't go wrong making it out to the clerk of the court, if I remember corrrectly that is who every fine I have had to pay was payable to.

The few times I have been ticketed for speeding, I paid the Clerk of Court in that county.

Make it out to Pennington County Clerk of Court. I drive truck over the road and have gotten tickets out of state, and you make them out to whatever county-administrater or clerk of court. Put that on there, and don't worry they'll get it cashed!!

No sir. New granddaughter and two young grandsons in tow limited what we adults could. I plan to go again without the whole group
