I couldn't remember which thread it was but I was challenged to produce a photo and stats for what I claimed was a new record 6-point buck shot by my brother-in-law last year. I said that I requested the information and I have just received what he sent me.

I am embarrassed because it sounds like my brother-in-law exaggerated the statement that it was a new state record and also it was an 8-pointer and not a 6. It was a nice deer though. Please accept my apology for the above plus his lack of ability to take good photos. Sorry, I don't have better information.

Nice buck either way BobT, although I must say that is the only story of a buck that someone recalled being smaller. The buck and the story usually get larger as the years pass.

Nice buck bob, it usually takes a darn nice 8 pointer to get above 130, that thing is 20 inches over.

Nice buck! I'll never forget what an older fella that performed the validation for travel tags at the gas station in Outing told a man who stopped to register his old white-faced buck, "Dat's alot 'o sausage!".

That was about 25 years ago.

Nice deer, had to laugh at an earlier comment, not too many hunters downsize their stories. LOL
