Blackie to the minors please

I heard on the radio that the Tigers sent Pocello( spelling wrong) to the minors because his sinker wasn't sinking. When are the Twins going to do the same with Blackburn?

WE need to go out and find a pitcher. Issue is of course the good ones are few and far between and the ones one can pick up are to spendy for the Twins.

I think if the Twins had anything in the minors worth checking out, they would have been up by now.

The rumor was two starts ago against Detroit was do or die for Blacky and he won that game and pitched decently. Duensing allegedly was going to be his replacement.

Duensing should be in the rotation. He has shown us numerous times what he is capable of. They should also consider pulling someone else up as well. The way they are pitching, anyone is worth a shot.

Thats the problem with Twins fans, where always satisfied. If your a Viking fan are you satisfied with last years season, I think not. The state help build a stadium for the Twins, I think it time they spend what is necessary to make a run at the world series. The Twins are making plenty of money this year to afford taking a few chances.

i think blackburns 7.48 FIP says enough, to go along with his 10 ERA. an FIP of over 7 is just unheard of at the major league level!!! this guy needs to get out of our rotation and out of the majors until he can get his stuff (that we signed for 4 more years and $14 million this offseason) back.

Slama is the closer down there. Not much help for the starting rotation, he could help the bullpen though.

just toured the stats of the AAA pitchers and there is nothing there in terms of a starter. Slama and Waldrop are potential relievers with good stats.

The paper said there sticking with Blacky for now. I thought Slama came up before and was a starter.
