I'd really like to see him comeback with the twins next year too. I think though, when he does play his final season, it'll be with the indians. That would be fitting, he was very well liked in that town.

I don't know how many of you guys know WHY Thome hasn't been used much. He had" planters faceitis"(probably spelled wrong)....or in other words, a sore heel. He couldn't run without MAJOR pain, that's why Gardy used him like he did. Announcers talked about it today, again. Trainers fit him with a pad...said it "took the pain away"....but didn't make him run faster. Thought that was interesting.

Not sure ANYTHING would make him run any faster. But he has been in the lineup a bunch lately and he's certainly made the most of it. There's no way you could take him out of the lineup now.
