I don't know enough aboot college ball to make a pick, but I was pretty sure the Gophers would be one and done having to play Cal State F. That upset was awesome!!!

Nice win lastnight too. I thought it was over for sure when new mexico took the lead late. But I agree, I don't think they'll beat either of those teams a 2nd time.

Ok... answered my own question. For whatever reason it wasnt listed under baseball on the TV guide. ESPN U channel 729.

anyone catch the softball first game tonight. Univ of AZ vs UCLA. good game tired pitchers, UOA girl threw nearly 200 pitches. my arm hurt just watching them.

I stopped watching the game after fullerton tied it up at 4, knowing they would win (and because I had to go to work). But I thought it was a double elimination? When I seen the scores on espn later it said fullerton advances to the super regional. I don't know much about how the tournament works, but how come the gophers are out after just 1 loss?

the gophers got beat twice by fullerton that is why they are out. if you go to ncaa HSOforum and look at the brackets you can see all the scores.

Yep, they had two chances to beat them (after already beating them once). They lost on Sunday night and Monday night.

I believe Fullerton beat the gophers twice in consecutive nights in order to move on.
