fishinchicks
I really appreciate the way NASCAR handles things. As much as I don't like how the other networks handle race coverage, it will be better than watching Indy coverage. The whole split screen so we can show 5 minutes of commercials even during driver interviews is pretty bad. What is the point of having the interviews if you are not going to run the sound?I am relieved that Mike Conway only suffered a broken leg. When his car disintegrated, I expected to worse. In NASCAR, they would have stopped the race, not let the drivers use the practice lane and go on for the finish. It seemed like they were pretty unconcerned with the condition of their fellow driver. I don't know, maybe I am too redneck, but give me NASCAR and its fans any day.

jeffreyd
indy is the rich mans sport, nascar is the blue collar racing. remember the smells of fuel, oil, popcorn, bbq on friday and sat nights at the dirt tracks. i would love to take my son to a dirt track so he can see how it all got started but think he would not really understand. so those are my memories. NO NO NO NO! Take him and make new memories with him! Dirt track racing is the best entertainment value around. Guys spend thousands and thousands of dollars to put cars out there so fans can come spend a night at the track for $10. WHAT A BARGAIN! Don't let him think silver spoon racing is the real deal, get him to the dirt where it all starts!!!!!

LMITOUT
The "push to pass" button is just silly. I know there is talk about going to EFI on the NASCAR side, but I hope they don't ever come up with an idea as ridiculous as that.
Uncle Bill
The "push to pass" button is just silly. Only to be out done by “IZOD Fastest Seat in Sports”. A two seat indy car piloted by M. Andretti and passenger M. Walhberg. Great race. Stop with all the gimicks.
