Worst Opener Ever!!!

Nest or not, there was ALOT of them! Big ones and little ones and everything in between. Normally I enjoy burning them to death, but with no lighter I had to settle for ripping their legs off and watching them die a slow painful death! grin Screwed with my head the rest of the day too. Every time I had an itch or tickle I thought I had a tick crawling around.

Haha. I was wondering the same thing. After a hunting excursion last year, I got back home, and went to bed. Woke up in the middle of the night with one crawling on my neck. Couldn't get it out of my head so had to sleep on the couch until I could wash the sheets in the morning. Kinda dumb of me when you think of it, because the tick was probably never in the bed, just on me the whole time. One of those things where my imagination got the better of me.

weird went from spare key to tick nest on worst opener ever. Dont have a tick story< but one time on the rainy river I was backing my brothers durango down the landing at frontier to unload the boat, I got out to push him off an not being used to the durangoI hit the lock button an shut the door. pushed him off an went to get in an it was locked. Man what a feeling of helplessness. Sitting at the landing with the trailer in the water an the truck running an nothing you could do about it. He gave me the silent treatment which was funny cause he was so mad, just like a wife. All I did was call baudette sherriffs office to get list of locksmiths had one at frontier in 25 minuets for fifty bucks, best thing was that it was first weekend of November an everyone was deer hunting so no one was fishing therfore no one at the landing, We probabley would have been towed wether we wanted to or not with the truck in park. He keeps a spare on him now. boar

I'm with Magnetic is Magic. I've used one of these units for my (expensive, programmable) Ford F-150 keys for years...I don't lock my keys in my truck very often, but when I do, I swear, then smile, knowing that the spare is safely tucked up on a ledge on my front bumper. Even driving off-road (Mille Lacs in winter, to go plowing, etc) I've never lost this handy device. The outside gets dirty, but the magnets keep on stickin'.

My fishing opener sucked too. I bought a old boat, without a motor, a week earlier. I was told the trailer lights didn't work ... no sweat I will just buy all new lights and re-wire it. I got a motor earlier in the week from a guy that restores old motors and my finacee picked it up and it work just fine. Anyway I spent all Saturday (10 hours) wiring my trailer and trying to get it to work. I couldn't figure it out for the love of me. I bought another light kit and new wires a second time because I thought maybe the other kit was bad. So my day was spent trying to get the dang trailer to work. FINALLY got it to work and we headed out to the boat launch. Turns out the road to the boat launch was totally closed and all dug up. So we went to another lake. Got the boat in and the primer line, from the gas tank to the motor, had a leak and was loose so no gas was getting into the engine. So the boat sat on shore for 30 minutes, keep in mind this was at like 7:30pm so there wasn't much day light left, and never made it off shore. Pretty crappy Saturday for me on fishing opener.
