Umbrellas at Target Field

I swear some people think an umbrella is the only solution to rain. I have several jackets I could wear that are waterproof, and appropriate for temperatures ranging from freezing to 80 degrees.

Husband and Wife go to the Baseball game. It starts raining...

*Husband asks wife to pull out umbrella*

*Guy in back yells* "You better put that Umbrella away mam!?"

*husband gazes behind to find the source of the comment only to discover one mean looking dude eating a dome dog just mean-mugging him*

*Husband quickly turns around and whispers to his wife*

"Honey, I think we should put the umbrella away. Some dude back there doesn't like it.....and he's eating a dome dog."

*Wife quickly looks at the guy and gasps in horror*

"Your right."

*Couple puts Umbrella away, everyone cheers*

I stated my point at the game I was at that the umberellas were just view blockers but there were still people that didn't want to listen....including an annoying lady behind me that kept saying I hate getting wet with her umbrella over her head and I said I hate listening to you and left!!

If the forecast is for rain, WHY DO PEOPLE COMPLAIN when it does rain? They built a covered concourse and have those heater things. Can't the people that don't want to get wet just go up under them? There are enough people that will tough it out and sit there in the rain that the complainers can find a spot under one of those heater things! Just get rid of umbrellas altogether.

While I wasn't orignally excited to have seats in the third deck last night, I was once it started raining. I was in section 311, row 2 and didnt get one drop of rain. Man it was nice!

We were at the game last night, it rained, and the lady in front of my son pulled out an umbrella and opened it up. Her boyfriend looked at her with a sour face, and turned around asking my son if he could still see to which my son responded "No, I can't see anything". The boyfriend apologized to my son, reached over and grabbed the umbrella from his girlfriend, and whispered something in her ear as he put the umbrella away.

I don't think the lady had a clue that she was interfering with anyone else. Thanks to her boyfriend for thinking of others.

I did not see many other umbrellas in the stands behind home plate where we were. We all had ponchos as did most others that I saw.

Some people are truly clueless--they don't mean any harm, but it sucks for the fans behind them just the same. On the other hand, some people are just selfish and they don't care if you can see as long as they are dry. Here is a solution! DON'T ALLOW UMBRELLAS IN THE STADIUM. We know if a guy walks in with a shotgun that this is not allowed, right? So why not treat umbrellas like shotguns and keep them out of the park. It's not like they can easily conceal it in a pants pocket and sneak it in. Announce it through the PA as people file in on rainy days "No umbrellas allowed inside, no exceptions. Violators will be asked to eat four plates of chili cheese fries and drink tap beer all day, then will not be given any bathroom breaks or toilet paper." Be creative!

went to the game on thursday and it started to rain so my mom took out the umbrella for her and my gf, she was nice enough to ask the people behind her first after i told her to put it away 10 times, but they were nice enough and said go ahead and use it, if its in there way they will let her know so that was nice, but then she didnt think about all the water ontop when she was putting it away and she got the guy infont of us wet. Lucky he didnt notice
