Yeah there are people and it is busy but there is nothing better than sitting around on Friday afternoon while the grill is cooking steaks and we are tying lines for Midnight. The arguments over where to try first and what we all think will be the "go to" set up... Spending time with my dad and buddies, that is what makes the opener. Fish are the bonus!

lol my bestman is doing my Bachelor party on opener also...but we are heading out fishing....so its not too bad..

I always stay local(metro) and i'v never had any overcrouding issues, and we always catch fish. the lake were hittin this year could have the chance of a good size northern, i'm hoping to get a couple eyes quick and then troll troll troll. good luck to all.

Where is everyone headed for the opener? This year I'm headed to Crane Lake. I've never been to Crane, so I'm looking forward to it. Going up Friday to Wednesday or Thursday.
