Hello all,

I am new to the site and I am impressed with what i see so far. I am from WI (No boo's please!).

I basically only walleye fish (because the other fish are for kids) and I hope to one day become proficient at it.

I think i'm always learning. as soon as i think i have em figured out, they move and I have to start all over again!!

I mostly fish the Winnebago system and The Chippewa Flowage here in WI. Would love to get to MN some day as i hear there is excellent fishing up that way.

allright, nuff said.

tight lines!!

HT great to have you on the board! I fish Wisc. quite often. The Chip is a great fishery and I wish that the lake Michigan ports were closer to home. You will find a ton of know how here and answers to most any question you may have both fishing and non-fishing. This is a great group of folks that all have something to offer. Welcome!

Welcome Tamale! This really is a fantastic site~ full of good information. Also, I have to say, this is the most "civil" forum I've ever participated in! Lots of good people here.

Good fishing~

I know what you mean about the "civil" part.

We have a web site based here in WI that started off as really great, however the people bash eachother, fishing reports for the most part are lies or misleading and it's lost it's fun in my mind.

I wish more folks would be posting on here about WI lakes. specifically Winnebago and The Big Chip.

for those of you who have fished the big chip, or are going there, I have plenty of spots to share and can give you some good info on the lake (for walleyes of course!!)

I spend about 5 weeks a year fishing the place and have been doing this for about 15 years now.

Need a place to go, where to fish, places to eat? I have all that stuff in the back of my head.

But thanks for greetings.

Welcome to the boards Hot Tamale. Great to have a neighbor around. I live on the Winnebago System for the most part. Starts in April with the river run then morphs into trolling Poygan and Winnie. I also have a place in Winter which is 20mins from the Chip which I frequent through out the year. I'm usually sharing as much info in the Winnebago forum as I can, so feel free to chime in.
