Has anyone used this reel before. Im thinking about buying one for a cranking setup, for next season, but havent heard much about it... Thanks for any info on the Winch, btw I love its name =)

I have a Revo S. It is a great reel for the money. The Revo s has a 6.4:1 gear ratio as the Winch has a 5.4:1. If you find yourself getting excited after catching a fish you may want to go with a 5.4:1 gear ratio.

One thing the two reels have in common is the drag. 24lb of lifting power! That is twice that of most other reel of there type (Corado 11lbs).

If you are going to have this reel in your hand most of the summer go with the Winch, you get what you pay for. If it is just one of 10-15 reels in your boat, the Revo S will get the job done and it is SMOOTH.

I have on on my main cranking rod and I love the thing. First reel I've bought that was able to replace my Lews Speed Spools. Compact, lots of line capacity and great power, plus a very good drag. Great reel.

I got one that I LOVE for cranking. This reel has serious power and will throw muskie baits with it as well

I plan on buying a revo of some sort this spring. I'd like to take advantage of their Wiley -X promotion. Does anybody know anything about the p-17 or Zak sunglasses they are offering? What tint are they amber or grey? Are threy good glasses?

Are they the blue lenses?

I called the rebate center and was told that they are. If that is the case, they are the polarized lenses and good ones at that. I'm pretty sure I'll be taking advantage of the offer yet.
