Saving an Adobe Reader File as a JPEG..HELP!

Question

Hey guys, Im looking for some help saving an Adobe Reader file as a JPEG. What Im trying to do is save a landowner map in JPEG form so I can use it as a layer on my garmin. I cant figure out how to do it....if anyone is willing to tell me how...if there is a way Id really appreciate it! Thanks!

The easy way is to just hit your "print screen" button and then paste it into an image editing software, or even Paint from there you can crop it to size and then use it just like a jpeg.

I think you can lose a lot of the resolution doing it this way. Especially if you have to shrink your pdf map so it will all fit on your screen. That's what my problem was when I was trying to convert to an image.

I'd send it to wiggum, it's tough to beat the writer software when dealing with pdfs.

In Adobe Version 9 (possibly older versions as well) you can just left click and drag a region on the file and then right click to "copy image". It will save it to your clipboard in the full size that the document really is, even if your pdf is zoomed out to say, 50%. Zooming out will allow you to get the entire image in case is required scrolling.

Then just open up Paint in Windows and do an Edit Paste from the top menu. You can then save it as a jpg file. If you want to make it smaller then select Image / Select/Skew to change up the size.
