Of the Chicago Bears is dead?

Anyone have an idea what happened?

Funny they didn't catch that in all the physicals he's had to of taken in the past 5-8 years.

It seems like when an athlete dies at a young age they always have an enlarged heart. Hmmm... Anyone have an answer as to why?

I think it's mostly just genetics...

Genetics have very little to do with an enlarged heart. It is usually cuased my a thickening of the heart muscle due to increased workload. Thats why you usually see this in athletes.

High blood pressure is a precursor to this usually and yes that is why they usually catch this through screening or imaging. Very sad indeed for a young man with a lot of life left.

Steroid related? Not at 26 years of age. Even hardcore users will last into their 40's. It's an accumulated cause and effect with steroids.
