Taxidermy Fish Pictures (updated walleye/carp)

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and new year! It's been a few months since I've posted taxidermy pics on here, so I thought I'd share a couple of a recent mount. This is a two sided replica of a 27" walleye that I molded and cast for a local client. It was an extra fish that I had in the freezer and it was just the right size for the fish he had caught. I may add a pic of a recent skin mount walleye, for comparison, later on. Best of luck to all you ice anglers out there!

This one is a skin mount walleye. Also, I thought I'd throw in a picture of a 38lb. carp. It's a skin mount but I replicated the original head because they're so greasy.

Yeah I think they're nuts. They're doing it for a great cause though. People that take the "deep freeze dip" are raising money for the "honor flight", which is sending area WWII vets to Washington to visit the memorial. So they are all nuts in a good way! If anyone wants to watch and or jump in, it happens tomorrow afternoon, Jan 23 on lake Okabena in Worthington.
