Skeet Reese Rods

Just saw these in the Cabela's catelog, wondering if anybody have seen them in person and what you think about them. The price is decent, I figured they would be very expensive.

I saw them at Thorne Bros. They look ok. Lot of guides, but a little whippy and heavy.

I have 2 of them - the Carolina rig rod and the worm/spinnerbait rod. They are a little heavy compared to some of my $150-$200 rods, but I think they are a decent value for the money. I bought them from a popular online site that was offering 10%-20% off plus free shipping a short while ago.

(They certainly feel lighter than the Mojos that are priced the same.)

I saw them at the dealer shows. I wasn't too impressed. I think there are better options out there.

I purchased the jig/worm rod at the end of last season and was able to use it a few times before the season ended. It's a little on the heavy side but the more I fished it the less I noticed. The weight isn't a big deal IMHO. I tend to beat on my equipment pretty hard so I was pleased to find a decent rod for under $90. I recommend it, I think its a solid rod for the price.
