You just hate to see a star player get hurt in a big game like this cause it takes away from some of the hype and competitiveness of the game! But it is good to see the horns still fighting!! Their defense has played a pretty good game so far.

Yep, I may be a Tide fan and will take the win if they are able to hold on but I sure didn't want to see the game go down like that.

Texas can blame curt herbstreit for the loss. Not even 3 seconds after he says texas hasn't allowed a sack, gilbert gets nailed and fumbles on the goal line...game winning play for 'bama!

Texas fans should be happy Saban decided to do that. Maybe he was giving them a sporting chance................All Texas had to do was strip the ball, run it in for a TD, 2 pt conv., onsides kick........etc, etc
