Cold day to go along with my cold. Good day to stay in.

Buddies kid put his foot through the ice...

caught 3 perch.....

multiple snowmobile rides back to landing was frigid....

dead truck battery at landing.....

But my new clam thermal was warm!!!

I went out long enough to start the truck and let it warm up. Was -33 then she turned over real slow but started. Decided it was a good day to stay inside and veg.

nah, fishing was great today!!

The only unfortunate thing is that things tend to not work and or break when it's so cold

I went out Friday, woke up Saturday morning and saw the temp. I decided to just stay in and reorganize my gear. seemed like I dragged too much out the last time. also took a trip to Joe's and FF.

im going out today (sunday) though.

Have been out the past 3 days and will be out the next 2 for sure. Pretty slow going though. One of these dAys it should puck up a little. Onlyeye I caught today was on a size 1 jigging rap.

It was a good night to go fishing once the bite started. Locked my dang keys in my car out on the ice but got it open with a bucket handle pretty fast. Dang habit of locking my doors. But man that ice is brutal with all the hard ruts, and had lots of fun trying to make it up the landing tonight. But all in all a good night of fishing.
