we were taking last saturday about when we want to have the next one.

After the superbowl. Thinking end of jan, beginning or feb.

Please post some ideas to lakes. I will put another poll up with 4 lakes so we can vote on the next lake.

Sakatah thats my pick lesuer county, I have the area picked out and pretty much 100% possibility to see quite a few nords crystal clear water, spot no more than 50yrds from the access... Thats my pick and its n 1hr south of the cities, 2 hrs for me, if the gtg is in Brainerd I cant go for thats like a 6 or 7 hour drive for me...

There are some real piggies up in Kabetogama.... Someone got a 25 pounder a couple of weeks ago......

if we do end up in the brainerd area I may have a lead on a time share to stay at for a very reasonable price. One of my sis inlaws live up there and has connections

I was just up at Kabetogama and we had a lot of fun! Spearing is definitely a big deal up there...everyone we asked about the fishing asked us right away "spearing or angling?" One guy we talked to speared a 15 pounder the week before and had mounts of 20+ pound fish and a picture of the 26 pound 26 1/2" he speared!
