Big Dave2
Von Miller is more of a hybrid between a LBer and a DL. Like a Lawrence Taylor. He turned out to be pretty good.
bassNspear
Von Miller is more of a hybrid between a LBer and a DL. Like a Lawrence Taylor. He turned out to be pretty good. But not as good as suh. Suh could turn a ball game around within a play, and we all seen that this year watching Nebraska get better and better. Head Coach Bo even said it himself, without Suh and our Defence, we would have never won have the games we did, our defence keep us in these games. so haaad
When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night he checks his closet for Suh.Suh once roundhouse kicked a salesman - over the phone.
CrappiesNCats
If I were Suh, I wouldn't worry about not winning the Heisman. Suh is going to be much more compensated for his work than Ingram. Suh is hands down the number 1 pick in the NFL draft. I REALLY hope Tampa and St louis don't win again. because I don't want Suh on the lions. He could be that once in a lifetime DT talent. CrappiesNCats
forget the boogeyman. Chuck Norris checks under his bed and in his closet before going to bed just to make sure Suh isn't there.

The Heisman is not meant to be an MVP award, it is meant to go to the most outstanding player.

Have you ever taken a good look at Terrance Cody? If I were the boogyman, I'd be checking the closet for him too!

Suh is going to be much more compensated for his work than Ingram. How do you know that? Ingram is only a sophomore this year. He has a couple more heismans to try and win and next year there will be no Tebow, McCoy, or Bradford to contend with. He will also be on another dominant team next year as Bama returns almost all of their offensive starters. Even if Ingram comes out after next year, his resume should look pretty impressive with 2 heismans and 2 national championships!
bassNspear
so your saying that Suh wasnt? or shouldnt be? BRADFORD????? COME ON!! YOU NEED TO PLAY IN ORDER TO BE IN THE RUNNING!

Wasn't or shoudn't be what??????Heisman winner???? NO, it went to one of the right picks. If not Ingram it should have went to Colt McCoy.I just stated that Bradford will not be there next year to challenge Ingram for his 2nd heisman. Bradford would have most likely been a front runner this year had he not been injured.
JBMasterAngler
Look for Oregon QB Jeremiah Masoli and Boise State QB Kellen Moore to give Ingram some competition in the heisman race next year.

I agree, and I do think that they are 2 great players but one of them will have to have a rediculously monster year to beat out contenders from the big time BCS conferences. so haaad
You have to expect the unexpected with the Heisman and college football. Just look at the last couple of years. There are always a couple of new contenders each year that pop up.
Big Dave2
OK, just for fun.....lets speculate. Who will be in the running next year?
HuskerBen
At the beginning of the year, in addition to Mark Ingram, I think we'll see Jacory Harris (Miami), Jerrod Johnson (from A&M, and only if they get rolling early), Tyrod Taylor (VaTech, at least until they lose a game or two), Kellen Moore of Boise St., Masoli from Oregon, Matt Barkley (because he's from USC), and whoever winds up playing QB at Notre Dame (until they lose three or four games). And whoever plays well enough to impress Kirk Herbstreit in the first couple of games. By the end of the year, who knows. Probably somebody we've never heard of. so haaad
Ben, that's a decent list. I'll go with Ingram, Jacory Harris, Kellen Moore, Barkley and ... Terrelle Pryor.
Big Dave2
I forgot about Jacory Harris, he might be a force to be reconned with.
JBMasterAngler
I'm pretty high on matt barkley. He might get some praise next year, but I think it'll be his junior season when he becomes a serious contender.Pryor definitely had his best season this year, but I just don't see him becoming an elite QB, I don't think he'll see any serious consideration.Really sucks that miami got screwed out of playing in the gator bowl, would like to have seen harris play against west virginia in a big venue.
