Anybody seeing any morning movement of deer? I have not seen a buck, not even a spike, a single morning yet this muzzy season. I don't think I'll bother getting up early again... Two friends shot mature bucks last Tues and Wed both about 4:10 pm. I have not been able to get out of the office in the afternoon so haven't been out. What's everybody else seeing?

Plenty of deer moving in the morning in the SE portion of the state. But they are moving early. All deer seen before within an hour after sunrise. After that, nothing. Evening deer were moving about 4:00 going to the fields to eat. Pretty herded up in this area. The last of the corn fields are getting picked.

I had three buddies hunting this morning they saw 24 does and yearlings all diffrent deer on the same 140 acres they ended up taking 2. Yesterday we took one doe in the morning and one of the guy missed at a doe that was under ten yards last night. Tonight I had 10 does and yearlings come out into the alfalfa field and I dropped a big doe at 180 yards, So since last sat four guys I shot a buck and doe one guy shot a doe other guy shot 2 does missed a buck and doe and the last guy missed a doe and killed one. We had one heck of a muzzy season everyone had lots of action if they could only shoot better.

Couldn't make it out last weekend, got the report from the guys I was hunting with. 37 deer in the fields on Saturday night. While watching the vikings game on Sunday another 20 were kicked out of neighboring woods when they were doing a walk through. (only one guy walking, one guy sitting, so I didn't want to call it a deer drive).

I really hope that these deer can find a food source this winter. There is a lot of snow in the woods right now.

One had 8 in front of him while he was waiting for the other guy to shoot because he saw a heard of them coming out of the swamp too him that guy had 7 come out and stand next to him so that was two groups of deer standing by diffrent stands at the same time the other guy was 800 yards away and he had nine in the alfalfa field and when they shot they trotted into the woods by him and he took one, so all the deer were in front of the hunters at the same time they did say there was more in the swamp that they could see running but did not count them. And it was 180 yards I crawled down out of the stand to the edge of the field and bench rested off a blow down if I couldn't find a rest I wasn't going to shoot plus I was shooting it in Sept at 150 yards and could shoot tight groups you don't know what you can do unless you practice I treat all my hunting like archery and practice alot.
