otter cabin

I'm considering the otter cabin--------but I have some reservations with the pole system-------I had a pro and hated the pole system it had------always binding up. How does the otter system work----------any body have personal experiences with the otter system

I have a Lodge with the newest square pole system with the nylon inserts and it sets up and collapses much easier than the last one I had (square poles without the inserts).

I had never owned one before buying a cabin last season. I like the system overall, but the poles are difficult to extend sometimes when it's cold. I've never greased them or anything though, so I'm sure that may help.

I have ran Otters for years and the new pole system is great. No more binding problems since they went to the new design a few years ago. Im running the Otter Cabin and I love it. The new seats and seating design is awesome and very easy to operate.

They new poles are a lot better.

I have the square without nylon, and don't have any problem. I give them a squirt of Break Free at start of season, and they slide fine.

I consider my Otter Cabin the flat-out best flip-over made.
