I've been working on mine for the last 5 weeks on and off. I took a shelf above my oven and made it into a entertainment center for my LCD TV, satellite and DVD/CD/radio.

I also replaced my dinette/bed with a over sized loveseat with a full size pull out bed. Since now I don't have a table I built a storage box with a Clam tray on top to hold all the stuff the table did.

I plan on adding a light out side the door then I'm done for this year.

Careful with your electronics JSK. if you leave them in over time with no heat, then fire up the heat , the circuit boards will "sweat" and short out. We have surround sound and all that jazz, and made it with quick connects so the dvd, t.v., ps2 can be easily unhooked in a matter of minutes. Plus "out of sight, out of mind" for those who can't keep their hands off of other peoples things. So if you do leave them in you can put a little 12v fan(out of a computer) by the component and it should dry them out before you turn them on.

I made a bench that doubles as a bed. I keep my generator, batteries and charger and misc. items in it. I made it real sturdy and have 2 combination padlocks on it. I picked up a mattress at Milaca Unclaimed Freight and sewed a cover for it. It's secure and handy. I do have a larger house, but it would work in a smaller house as well.

every thing will come home at night except the CD/DV player I will just take the face plate off. The TV is on a quick disconnect I made from a aluminum picture hanging bracket, just lift up and its off set down and its on.

where did you get that couch/pull out bed?

Also how big is your fish house??

I did a ton of looking before I found this couch, I got it from Mireaults in Foston MN of all places. My house is 68 3/4" wide on the inside and the couch is 66 1/4" wide but could be squished to 66". The couch is a micro fiber and it's made by LaCross. I will warn you the price is a bit out of hand for a fish house couch, but since it fit so well and was a full sleeper and was the only one I could find that fit, I just had to do it.

This year I added some rope lighting to the wheelhouse. I put it under the lip of the shelf that goes over the wheel well. Each side is on a switch. This gives me ambient lighting for "movie time" and adequate hole lighting for night fishing without the bright overhead lights on.

Here they are off:

Here is a closeup of the lights:

Any 12 volt rope lighting would work, I bought them online but noticed the c store has them for 14 bucks.

I am re-doing my house and I was wondering how people are mounting computer fans.

I was thinking about making a bracket to allow the fan to pivot up and down and also side to side. If anyone else has done this, I'd like to see pictures to get an idea. Or, if someone has a better idea, throw it out there.
