I've got 7 in mine no problem. 4 on one side, 3 on the other. I use the 500 series reels or smaller. It is, hands down, the BEST rod bag out there. At least it used to be.
-
Red Rock store or Marine General may have them still. Cabelas says they are in stock on their HSOforum.

Canvas Craft's insulated material is white on the inside- I love it. The dark material is real good for sight fishing on the other hand.

Do any central MN Strike master dealers take trade ins

The Nils just arrived. I ordered Friday from Red Rock store. On my doorstep 2 business days later. Nice! Half a tank through it already.

Make a cylinder with reflectex and tape to the bottom of your buckets or tubes. This also helps keep the hole open. I also wrap it around the entire length of my tubes to keep them open.

Thanks all, that's the answer I was hoping for!

Just wondering how the Nils is at opening old holes in the perm? Thanks

Ice rod storage ( when traveling on the ice)

Stone Legacy's "Revolution" rod bag is the best I have ever used. $50, holds up to 8 rods. I store 3 walleye rods on 1 end, and 3 panfish rods on the other.(I use the rod slicks as well) And it has a compartment for tackle. Super lightweight, and compact. -
GAMMA copolymer. Great strength and very limp.

My perm sits a good foot above the ice so I get pretty good freezing when it's real cold. I've had good luck taping REFLECTEX(sp) on the outside of the plastic sleeves I use. This works real well for me.

I second the Stone Legacy Revolution. I've had them all. I'm no longer looking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Use 1 can spam, 1 pound browned ground beef, and 1 jar pizza quick sauce. Mix together in food processor or mixer. Mix into a thick paste. Spread on half a hamburger bun, place a slice of cheese on top. Cook at 400 until cheese starts to brown. Chow down. Just made a huge batch 3 days ago.

200 watts is plenty. The only time my Honda 2000 goes to high is when I've got the toaster or pizza cooker going. I run the tv, ceiling fan, lights and on board charger on low.
