Anyone know where I can find one of these? I have called around to all the big guys(Reeds, Scheels, Marine General, Thorne Bros) and no dice so far. I am getting desperate to find one... Anyone have a used one they want to part with? Email me if you know of any carryover stock for sale or if you have a used one you want to part ways with.

Thanks in advance

Travis

tbeste....Korky's in St. Paul has them for $40.00. You can call 'em at 1 -651-762-1950. Hope that cheers ya up!

Korky's doesn't have them and won't be getting any. I already tried to order one from there and the order got cancelled since Marcum is no longer selling this item.

The marcum rod pacs were complete garbage, you don't want one. Awesome design, junk construction and materials. I went through the hassle of returning 3 of them before I just had to accept it as-is.

Now that I've invested a couple hours sewing and replacing rivets mine works well for shorter rods, but it isn't a good deal at all.

Back when Marcum had their service center in Anoka, I asked about the new rod pac. Through no prompting by me, they acknowledged the construction quality issues with their manufacturer. Not sure if this ever got fixed or not, since this was when they first came out.

Check out Fish House Supply. They have them.

Good Call Drewski!!!! I got the last one Ron had. After searching the last few days it may in fact be the last one in the retail world laugh

If we ever cross paths I owe you a cold one!

Sorry you had bad luck with yours. I already have one, and after 2 seasons it has held up to my abuse quite well. I haven't had any of the stitching or rivet issues others have reported. I hope my 2nd one works out as well as my first has. Even if I have issues that I need to fix myself I will still have a better rod bag than anything else I have seen to date.

I believe you're talking about the Ice Pac and not the Rod Pac; two different items.

Yeah, you're right Dave, I was talking about the ice pac. The marcum folks at that time expressed a considerable disdain for the manufacturer. I'd be surprised if the ice pac was constructed any better, but don't really have any experience with that product..

I have an Icepac, and had the same ripping issue with the flasher pocket. I repaired it myself and haven't had any other issues since, and I do like it for its ability to house almost everything in small quantities. I won't be selling mine!
