I filed a missing person for blucky13...my guess he is prolly ski fishing and is trying to repress the last pucker loss to the vikes....or maybe he secretly converted to Purple after the dome game and he won't admit it!!!

just saw an article on yahoo that some blog writer is trying to get the fans to give favre the silent treatment... now that would be funny.

all athletes have heard their shares of boos and chears, but has anyone ever gotten the silent treatment?

By now we should all know the difference between the Queens and Cheerios. grin

What a sports weekend this will be for me: going to the Badger/Purdue game Sat, world series that night and Pack/Queens on Sunday. A three day weekend to get some bowhunting in would be perfect.

Although I was a huge Favre fan and still think he's a football god I hope to see him fall on his face Sunday!

Mock Favre Funeral Held In Wisconsin

30th October, 2009 - 9:38 am

Yahoo! Sports - A Wisconsin radio station held a mock funeral for Brett Favre on Friday.

The station paired up with Tom, Richard and Harry's, a bar behind the Packers practice facility, for the event, with a casket and a hearse.

All donations at the event will go to the Deanna Favre Hope Foundation.

What did the city of Green Bay end up doing for Favre's return? I had heard the Mayor had a few ideas like complete silence, a huge waffle with #4 on it, etc. Should be really fun to watch tomorrow. Especially with a big Vikes win!!

At that point in the game it's a great call! Maybe not in a different situation... i.e. we've been stopped on a few drives in a row and no one in the game is scoring points...get the field goal. But after Harvin's return you have to keep the momentum. We've done a decent job stopping the Pack to this point, and if AP DOESN'T make it in, they get the ball at about the 1 yard line. I like our chances of a safety at that point as well. Good call.

      I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...

      Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?

      I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.

      Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe.  I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho.  Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.
