CaptZ21
OK, I am fed up with this weather already and just want to pose a question. If you could live anywhere in the lower 48 states where would you choose? The area would have to have good bass fishing most of the year. Obviously we are spoiled when it comes to numbers of lakes here, so the selection can be one lake in the area or a few with in a reasonable drive. I have to say Clear Lake and the Delta are two of my favorites but a little too far on the left side of the map. Guntersville and Okeechobee certainly have an allure of their own. I have not been to Falcon nor Amistad but plan to remedy that this Jan and Feb. Just curious what everyone's opinion is.
TonkaBass
I have always wanted to live in Alabama just because of the climate and location. Might not be the most unreal bass fishing in the country, but it sure would be nice!

chasineyes
Missouri...still get some great colors, moderate winters and NO INCOME Tax. Plus still very affordable. Lots of multispecies as well.

river rat316
Texas, San Antonio area to be exact, lots of rivers with Smallies, Largies, Guadalupe bass. Also Choke Cnayon a couple hours away and other small lakes. There is also Amistad and Fork within a days drive. The only down side is I was looking at wading the Brazos or one of the other area rivers this winter and one of the warnings was about alligators.... snakes I can handle but alligators is a no go for me and wading! I get a little weirded out by big water bugs when I wade the Miss up here, I couldn't imagine seeing a 12' gator slide into the water on the other side of the creek! JBMasterAngler
Minnesota is the only place I want to live, so I'll stay here. Sure there's alot to complain about, but all the other states would have just as many new problems to complain about as well. There's plenty of fish to catch here whether it's lake trout up north, white bass down south, or pike, largemouth & smallmouth bass inbetween. Not to mention ice fishing. Gotta have ice fishing! Cecil
Guntersville or Kentucky.
Z-520
I would definetly move to the Huntsville, Alabama area. Close proximity to Guntersville and Not to far from Kentucky lake. Plus Dale Hollow and Pickwick house some world class smallmouths.

mainbutter
I'd love florida. Lots of great big southern largemouth bass, and great saltwater fishing too. That said, I wish I could teleport myself to ontario for the entire summer for fishing, but minnesota is a good compromise.
