So if any of you know me, you know I have a little boy of a little more than three years. This little boy goes by the name of Hunter. Hunter loves fish and has been carrying a fishing pole around the house since he was about 6 months old. I got him out a bit this afternoon between spurts of rain for a little fishing on the river. On the second cast, he capitalized. I gave an assist with the cast and the hook set, but he handled the rest. Nearly getting pulled in by this crazy little river smallmouth, I did put an arm around him during the fight.

Enjoy. We sure as heck did!

Deep concentration...

And it pays off!

well done! i also have a three year old fishing partner, and when you get to see that excitement in their eyes, smile on their face, and retelling of their tale; it is truly a special moment. keep up the hard work, it certainly is not easy, but well worth it in the long run.

Thats awesome!!! My "little" boy is now 10 and I wouldn't even think of going fishing with out him. My daughter is 5 and she likes it just as much!!

I hear ya there, my 11 year old is my fishing partner. He drives the motor, is my main net man, and never lets me hear the end of it IF he outfishes me. He still talks about times from 3 years ago when he got LUCKY.
