Mosquitoes

Okay I am looking for the best way to keep Mosquitoes off of me and yet provide no extra smell to be easily detected. I heard that baking soda is a good home remedy to remove human scent as well any truth to it? I have this nice 8 point that always keeps just of range, or at least the two times I've seen him. Hoping he comes close soon before duck season starts cus it’s on public land………

Mosquitoe proof clothing like the Shannon bug suit- I bought one for bear hunting yerars ago and use it for bow now. Works great and is very light and cool-

Head net works for around face if they are getting you there.

a ThermaCell works great,i used mine when i got my bear this year and today i had 3 deer walk by me at 15 yards and they never knew i was there.

I second the thermocell, best product I've ever used to repell mosquitos. They also make a repellent pad that smells like earth scent if you're worried about the scent, but from personal expeirance and other reports on here you don't really need to worry about it.

I treat my clothes with permethrin for the BWCA. It doesn't smell and I don't get bit.

I was hunting in a ground blind last night with the girlfriend and the mosquitoes got nasty! Kicked on the thermacell and about 10 min they were gone. Shut it off after an hour and we were good for about 4/5 hours till dark when I kicked it back on again for a little bit.
