Kylersk
On the way up to lake Vermilion this past week, I saw 2 ATV's at a dealer on the side of the road. ONe had tracks on and the other had these odd tires on. Hard to describe, the only way I can think is they were cone shaped and extended way beyond the fenders. Under the fender they were fat, and as they extended beyond the fender they tapered off into a cone shape. Anyone know what these are and what they are for? gr8icefishinmind
Not sure the name of them but they are used for mud and water riding. Instead of your wheeler sinking in the mud they help to keep it up and help with traction!! They seem like a pain to me cause you are adding so much width to your wheeler..... norm
The guy in the video was saying that these things have enough foam in them to make even the heaviest of atv's float. That in itself is worth something in case a guy ever broke through the ice. He said they will float his honda with him on it but it gets really tippy. I would imagine they help a lot in deep snow too just because you wouldn't sink in nearly as far.
