Okay now that we got swept by the )*&)* Yankees, there was not a Twin that played played well. To take it a step further, how does the eh hem MVP go for 0 for 10 with one walk versus the Yankees in JULY. How does he get a free pass, anyone else remember his atroscious slump last September? I do.

I remember that slump. I seem to also remember Mauer having a tough go of it in the last few games. Especially that play-in game. Ouch was that ugly.

I have yet to see a hitter be immune to slumps though. I am kind of glad that Morneau turned them down on the home run derby. It may or may not have affected him last year. He was not quite the same hitter in the 2nd half last year.
