Anyone here a Skywarn Spotter?

LwnmwnMan2

Question

I keep thinking about going to the class, seeing as I'm outside about 95% of the time in the summer, in all weather conditions, but have never had the time before.

There's a class here next week and I think I'll go, as long as the rain holds off and the schedule allows.

Anyone else here a spotter?

Most of the time the classes are offered around or on Severe Weather Awareness Week which was a couple weeks ago. They are typically held at the county office in this area. I've always meant to sign up for one of these classes but have failed to follow through. Seems like it comes and goes quickly and I forget or miss the opportunity. I'm also a weather freak and think it would be fun....just have to get it on the calendar next time.

Deitz -

I believe it's next Thursday at 7 pm in Linwood.

My problem is that Jack's first Bantam's baseball game is at the same time. I'm out until next year, unless the game is rained out.
