Song Sparrow, Belting It Out!

Recommended Posts

Song sparrows, even more than Robins, are the harbingers of spring for me. This one can be found at Minnesota Point in Duluth, MN. SonyA300, Tokina400mm, iso400, f10, 1/640, converted from RAW, cropped, slight increase in saturation.

Comments and critiques always welcome.

Regards, Shawn Zierman.

Not much to nit about on this one Shawn. Great light and sharpness, love the pose and background very clean. A little foreground clutter but it certainly doesn't bother me and could possibly be cloned if you had the time.

I just like the fact that you are open to learning and CC. The BG is really nice as is the open beak and body position. I'd personally clone out the OOF branches in front of the bird... a five minute job.
