MN Shutterbug
I ran across this doe with 4 fawns. Also, surprisingly, they still had their spots. Unfortunately, it was pretty gloomy weather and while trying to get a shot of the fawns all together, I noticed I was shooting at 1/80 sec. This doesn't work with critters that don't stand still. it brightened up a tad, when I shot the doe. I was able to shoot him at ISO 640, 1/200 sec. at f7.3. I included the second photo so you could see the size and spots of the fawn. It sure included an ungly background. It just seems a bit late in the year for the fawns to still have their spots. But then, due to the cold spring, everything is behind this year.

DonBo
I've seen fawns well into the archery season (late Sept) that still carried spots. Saw two last night, like the one pictured, with bright white spots yet.Nice capture.

MN Shutterbug
Thanks, everyone. I just wished there would have been better light so I could have got a decent shot of all 4 fawns together. It's the first time I've seen that many at one time. DeeDee, I love your avatar. At least that part of my monitor is clean now.
