blue_healer_guy
He is what he is, a fast minor leaguer. Outfield situation solved.

zamboni
Now I am not the biggest Delmon fan (you all know this) but I was a little miffed last night when they put Gomez in, and shifted Span over, who was 0 for 4 and yanked Delmon, who was 3 for 4. If anyone was to be yanked, they shoulda pulled Span. Gardenhire makes a few moves that confuses me sometimes. In the 9th after Slowey couldn't finish, he shoulda went Nathan even though not a save situation, go to the sure thing.
grousehunter
Probably wanted better defense since they already had the lead.
CrappiesNCats
Gomez is very young and full of potential. That being said, he needs to work on his game in AAA since we've got it covered up here. Call up Pridie
IFallsRon
When the Central standings don't look like the beer league has taken over, the Uncle Rico "mix and match" theory won't go away. Baseball is turning into the NFL: too many teams and not enough talent. I see better attitudes and play at in the town leagues.
Danube D
It's like Coach Lou Brown once said, "You may run like Mays, but you hit like S*#$!"
DHanson
It could just be coincidence, but most of the time when I watch Gomez bat, he doesn't even take a full swing. His mind-set seems to be focused more on bunting rather than just hit the ball hard somewhere. I realize with his speed he can bunt for a hit, but that should still be a once in a while thing. And seriously Gomez, you are not good enough to bunt with two strikes. He should expect to get some things said when he does bunt with two strikes and fouls it off, either from teammates, opposing team, or fans. Not that I agree with what Lee did, but in a way he had a point: it was stupid. In Gomez's last at bat he had a nice line drive hit. He took a full swing with the mentality to hit it hard somewhere, hopefully the festivities with Lee will give him a spark from here on out.
