metro fisherman
Do these trebles that come on x-raps work. Im not sold on the concept of having the top hook bigger. So does it work good here in freshwater or should I invest in some "normal" trebles?
PerchJerker
I used some of the new shallow shad x-raps with that hook last year and they were AWESOME!
jwhjr
I had good luck with them on some DT's last year, but they do snag the weeds even easier from my experience.
AaronM
They work well, give them a try before you decide you don't like them.
EBass
I replaced most of my trebles on my buckshots with the sure sets. Now if I could only find those walleyes.
swampbuck
I like them for Cranks, Jerk baits and topwaters! When the fish just swat at the bait or swipe at it I hook a lot of fish on the side of the head with the Extra large hook, You have to sharpen them, but they will put more fish in the boat
metro fisherman
Sounds pretty good. I was thinking that it may be more of a redfish/snook thing cause all the lures i have them on are saltwater.
TonkaBass
I haven't noticed a huge difference, but I do think they work good. I however don't use them on the belly hook of my crankbaits because I believe they create more problems than they solve.
Z-520
I think that the biggest plus is once you do hook up with a fish they are less likely to throw the bait.
