Who is going out in the strom tonight

I am probably headed out tonight with this nice late winter storm coming in. Usually have good luck with storms. Just wondering if anyone else is crazy enough to head out this wet icy Tuesday.

I sure am the crappies are biting...winter weather isn't going to stop me!

I have been thinking about it. If we get enough snow and the city doesn't plow our road out too frequently I will just take the ATV and Otter and head straight out rather than messing with the truck and trailer.

I went out this morning in Alexandria and it paid off! First time I had ever been on the lake and had it all to myself. The fish were very cooperative!

my wife and I will be out this evening as well. Find that the fish (on the lake we fish) bite really well before, during, and after a storm. Nothing like chasin panfish and watching the snow fall!

We are acting our age and driving to the U.P. tonight (with a wheelhouse). I've probally done smarter things.......hope we make it back to tell a good story

It's dangerous out there but fishing makes us do questionable things. The weather here is terrible the interstate to work is now closed I went to work for an hour this morning and came home 75 miles one way now its time to hit the lake.

I'm going fishing again later this afternoon for the second time today. I caught 4 crappies and hoping to get another 6.

Nothing more beautiful (except my wife and kids of course than watching the snow fall and bobber go down at the same time!

I love lake living. I get to fish anytime I want and it's always better when everyone else is working and I'm the only portable within sight!

I have fond memories of sitting on a lake when it was snowing heavily and pulling up a limit of crappies!!! Right NOW with the snow coming down would be the time to be out!!!

carpmanjake, caught lots of nice sunfish around the 8" mark and a two pound bass. I'm just on up here on vacation so I threw my ice fishing stuff last second. Walked out this morning having never fished the lake before and the first hole i drilled with the hand auger had fish in it! I was just happy to be catching fish.

alright. whenever you are up in alex let me know. i have many areas that hold big 4lb+ bass. a few with big crappie and other panfish, a few pike spots as well. im willing to take u out and how you the tricks

Well the storm keep me from getting out it kind of sucked. I went out to go get bait and head out to the lake and my car doors and locks were frozen. So I spent the night getting into my car and getting my car going so I could get to work today. By the time I was done it was sooooooooo windy and cold I figured it must of been a sign to keep me home.

Anyone make it out last night?

I got out and the bite was pretty good, some nice crappies off the weed edge. Sure was cold and windy, cant wait for this weekends warm up!
