Question for Dan?

Dan, you had mentioned being an artist for many years, this is very interesting. My question is, do you paint in oils, acrylics or maybe water colors? Or do use work in lead as in sketching? Also, do you have a HSOforum displaying your work?

I mainly worked in watercolors but also have done illustration work for books in pencil, dog portrait work, life-size airbrush work, painted signs, matting and framing, graphic design and most anything else to make a buck back in my freelance days. That included teaching classes in my particular watercolor technique using smooth hot-press papers that was taught to me back in college in Grand Forks many, many moons ago. I have never tried the hot press paper--I'm assuming that is what these are? I love the effect with your skies. Or maybe I should say I love your technique with the skies, particularly on the winter scenes. I also love your horizon lines. Your work with snow scenes, shows your level of talent. The beginner's nightmare, I hear? Thanks for sharing these.
