Fish house siding

OK---I am about done ice fishing for the year. It is time to return to my wheel house project. I am about ready for the siding. I am not interested in smooth aluminum siding due to the cost factor. While out on various lake this past season, I noticed some houses sided with steel siding that looked like 4" dutch lap siding. I found a place that will sell it but it is in Bemidji. Too far to drive. Anyone know where to get this in the cities? And about how much per square?

Thanks,

It looked like dutchlap, but was a lot heavier than normal house siding,. It also came in much nicer colors for a fish house, like black, dark blue, and bright red and bright white. There is a place in Northhome, MN that builds fish houses that used a nice steel siding, but I can't seem to find it here in the cities. He advertised a lot on "The List".

I think the siding on that ice house is like a wavey steel and is made in sheets. I have seen other houses with that style siding also. Not sure where to find it though. Maybe try contacting the builder of that ice house.

I actually went to that builders location and saw the material first hand. (I was on a trip to URL fishing) It was the same thickness (29 ga) as pole barn siding, but had a much more appealing profile. In other words, it didn't look like pole barn siding, but was just as heavy duty and came in various colors. That builder can get it for me but it it a long drive up there to get it. I was just wondering if anyone had used something similar here in the TC Metro area.

Also open to other recomendations for siding that are available here locally.

Thanks for any help.

Diamond plate is extremly expensive. In st. cloud a 4x8 sheet of 3/16 th inch cost over 200 hundred dollars. I built a fish house and I got my siding from a house that got hail damaged. Only one part of the house was damaged, they just could not find the right color match so they had to replace it all.
