Who uses swimbaits?

who here uses swimbaits for bass? i'm not talking about the hollow body ones so much but other swimbaits. i have started getting into them anyone else?

I've used the 3:16 bluegill swimbait the past few years with good results in the spring. I'll fish it much like I do a rattle trap over the top of the emerging grass on big shallow flats.

This is going to be the year. I just bought the Castaic Catch 22's in the 4", plus some of the Sebile Magic Swimmers in the 5". They both look pretty awesome. The 4" Catch 22 is a lot smaller than I imagined.

I'm planning on finally giving swimbaits a try this year as well.

I use some that could be considered musky baits and have success with them. I also have made a few of my own that have worked well for me too.

ebbie, I do.. They seem to work best for me in clear water, when working a big mid depth weed flat... I plan on stocking the box with a few of the new Casiac Catch 22 Bluegills when they hit the market this spring.

when do the catch 22 bluegills come out? any idea of price? or a link to them?

I think the price will be about $20, and they should be here in time for the SportShow I think..
