fishing dreams....

I had a really funny one two nights ago. I was open water fishing out of a boat with a fathead using a bobber that was bigger than a softball. I casted it out on a breakline (funny how you know these things in a dream!) and immediately saw it jiggle. I set the hook and reeled in a 12" sunfish. I don't use minnows fishing for pannies and I definitely use the smallest float I can get away with. Dreams can be so weird!!!

Another thing about my dreams in general is that most of them have water in them.

Anybody else have some bizarre fishing dreams to share?

My fish dreams always seem to end up good for the fish. Something always seem to go wrong when I'm trying to catch them. Hmmmm sort of like when I'm awake!

I had a great one last winter. In the morning my gf was really mad at me and I couldn't understand why. She then showed me red mark on here leg where I had grabbed her leg in the night. I pondered this for a minute then remembered my dream of ice fishing and kicking my vex into the hole and I was grabbing it and trying to keep it from going down the hole....Turns out I was grabbing her leg... Oops

I have very similar dreams about fishing...but most of them also involve the Swedish Ice Fishing Team galls.

Yea- I actually had a weird one this morning. I was rainbow fishing

while my wife sat on a fallen tree. I hooked a nice one and i can remember thinking how real this fish was fighting for being a dream.

After it ran under the hole a few times I finally iced it and it was a northern! I knew this wasn't right, and it was a trout lake, so i reached in and pulled up a rainbow's skin.

Don't know how funny it is, but definately a little strange.....

I have had several, but the "almost" winning the Bassmasters Classic and almost winning the PWT top the list. Filling livewells with monsters, getting ready to get into weigh in, then the alarm goes off.

Wow this is wierd.(considering I had one last night!!) I am going to mille lacs tomorrow so of course I would dream about catching a trophy walleye right....nope. Caught a 7 feet long eel pout that was much larger than myself. Only thing that would fit in the net was its head. Also when I netted it it was floating above me?? Yet I obviously wasn't in the water with it and who uses a net when ice fishing?? I watched minnesota bound on Sunday night and they did a special on the eel pout festival so I know thats how the eel pout was put in my head. The rest is maybe from my extended drug use when I was young....
